Top Kerr Wildlife Management Area Hotel Reviews

Texas Hill Country Resort

8/10 Good

"The facility was great. The only problem was the internet was out at the bathrooms/laundry room by our cabin. We could connect to the WiFi but it had no connection to the internet. The staff kept saying the WiFi is spotty. The WiFi was fine. It just had no connection. They didn’t seem to grasp it and we asked them to restart the router but they never did. We were on a motorcycle trip and with no cell service there we had to use my brothers Garmin satellite communicator to let wives/ mothers know that we were okay. That’s my only complaint. Everything else was great. If you are riding the Three Twisted Sisters starting in Medina this is a good place to stay. Paved driveways and parking. Well stocked shop if you want a cold beer or snacks (though a little pricey). Overall a good experience."

Dark Skies & Private Frio River Access. Dogs Welcome! Book Now for Fall Foliage!

10/10 Excellent

"The view was incredible off the front balcony. The house is on a small hill overlooking the valley below. The river access was just a few minutes walk down the driveway and was really pretty. My kids really enjoyed playing at the river and skipping rocks and the town of Leakey is adorable and SO friendly. The house itself is small and older, but totally fine for our size party. The kitchen has been recently redone and was REALLY well stocked. It’s a little bit of a hike to Leakey, about 8 miles, but it was super quiet and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The hosts were super great about communication when we had a hard time getting in the door. FOLLOW the directions to the house that are given. My father in laws GPS took them right to the house, ours went a few miles down the road and it was in the middle of the night, so it was hard to find, but had we just followed the directions given, we would have been fine!We had a great stay!!"

Mimi's Mansion At Stacy Ranch, Cabin On 120 Acres Between Ingram & Hunt, Tx

10/10 Excellent

"Cabin and surrounding property were clean. Kitchen well stocked with plates, utensils, cups, pans, heat plate, microwave, small fridge, and toaster oven. AC worked well along with ceiling fans inside and outside on the front porch. Bed very comfortable and bathroom was clean and had essentials like towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Quiet and private. Been there 5 times if that means anything."

River Run Bo's place

10/10 Excellent

"We had such a wonderful, peaceful weekend at this beautiful cabin. The views of the river were absolutely gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy some time away. We brought our dogs, cooked several meals in the well-stocked kitchen, watched football, and even grilled out. The cabin had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was also perfect. There’s a really nice restaurant and bar within walking distance that had great food and live music, which was such a fun bonus.Another thing that really stood out to us was how handicap accessible the cabin is. My boyfriend walks with a walker, and we have found that many places aren’t very accommodating. This cabin was incredibly easy for him to get around, and the walk-in shower was a huge plus. It made such a difference being somewhere that was comfortable and accessible without us having to worry about navigating the space.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Beautiful views, a great location, a comfortable and well-equipped cabin, and plenty of things to enjoy nearby. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!"
